The cellist Alexander Kaganovsky is endowed with all the natural gifts of a real musician. His sound is very expressive, his musicality and his fine sense of the interpretation of different styles gain my respect. He is a wonderful soloist and ensemble musician of the highest standard.

His cello sounded rich in colour and his interpretation polished. In every sentence one could hide his joy of playing. Kaganovsky's eloquence, technical control, and avoidance of interpretative excesses added distinction to the rendition of Tchaikovsky's ever so familiar variations. His playing was very beautiful, full of feeling and elevation. Sometimes the sound of his cello is like a small orchestra.

The playing of Alexander Kaganovsky was lovely, soulful and sublime. Everything he owns in technical perfection, musicality and inner glow, he has impeccably expressed. Sometimes his cello sounded like an orchestra, and none the less clear, fine and transparent.
