Accessibility
How this site is built to be usable by as many people as possible.
The approach
This website was built with reference to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA.
It is a small site of text, photographs and links. Accessibility was part of the design from the start, not added afterwards.
What is in place
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Headings, landmarks and link names are written for screen readers. Photographs carry text descriptions.
- Motion is switched off automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Nothing plays sound on its own. Audio and video start only when you choose them.
- The accessibility button in the bottom-left corner lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, underline links and stop motion. Your choices are remembered on this device.
Known limits
Recordings open on YouTube and SoundCloud. Their players, captions and controls are provided by those services and are outside the control of this website.
Report a barrier
If something on this site is hard to use or does not work for you, please say so. It helps to mention the page and the device or assistive technology you were using.
